Sunday, May 5, 2013 Walk Against Hunger! Join our team of walkers as we gather at 12:30p at College Wooids Pavillion at East Rock Park in New Haven. This will be our 4th year of supporting CT Food Bank through this effort. The TEAM is asked to raise support for your effort in the Walk. Tutoring has Begun at Master’s Manna, Inc.
Vickie Gerace of Wallingford has assembled volunteer Reading and Math teachers to tutor Wallingford students in grades 1-6. As of this date there are 5 teachers tutoring 11 children. Well done Vickie!! We are looking forward to see this program expand as more teachers volunteer to help “build a stronger community”!

Eric Vo Record-Journal reports: “Viweing his success as fortunate and “a gift from God” Ahmet Kangal said he does all he can to give back and be part of the community. On Monday, February 11, 100 percent of the sales will be donated to the local food bank, he said.”
